The second series of Lip Service has started filming in Scotland.
The bad news is that it won’t be on our screens until 2012. Pish! However, AfterEllen have the following teaser pic for your
enjoyment.
The dude in the background doesn’t seem to
understand just how important this image is to millions of lesbian and bi women
all over the world.
As well as the regulars in the piccie, there are a
couple of new characters being added to the mix. There’s Lexy, an Aussie doctor
who is good at things down under. Sorry couldn’t resist. She’ll be played by
Anna Skellern. “Who be she HAL?” I hear you ask. Here she be.
She was in The Descent 2, so she’s used to
going down. Ahem. Then there is our very own Sinead Keenan, who was in the BBC’s
Being Human and is blessed with this face.
No idea yet who she’ll be playing. We’ll also be
drooling over Scottish actress Neve McIntosh. Here’s hoping that there are a few
of these shots.
Finally, we have another lesbian actress. An actual
out lesbian! Herself and our Heather Peace should set up a group or something.
Alana Hood has been in Waking The Dead and Trial And
Retribution, and usually plays a cow. However, she looks like this.
