How do i know if i am a lesbian????????

How do i know if i am a lesbian????????
Lesbians are women-loving-women. We are women who are sexually attracted to other women. We are women who may feel emotionally and spiritually closer to women. We are women who prefer women as our partners.
As lesbians, we are not alone. One out of ten teenagers is lesbian or gay. Many famous women in history were lesbians. Lesbians are teachers, doctors, lawyers, factory workers, police officers, politicians, ministers, movie stars, artists, mothers, nuns, truck drivers, models, novelists. You name it, we do it.
Lesbians are White, Black, Asian, Hispanic, Native American, Jewish, Catholic, Protestant, Buddhist. Lesbians are rich, poor, working class, and middle class. Some lesbians are in heterosexual marriages. Some lesbians are disabled. Lesbians are young women and old women. You name it, we are it.
Lesbians live in cities and in the country. We are everywhere!!
During adolescence, most young women begin to be aware of sexual feelings and take an interest in dating. Many young women feel physically attracted to men. But many other young women feel physically attracted to other women.
You may notice that you feel turned on by other women. You may feel different from your girlfriends, like you don't fit in sometimes. When your girlfriends are checking out boys, you may find yourself checking out girls. Going out with boys may not interest you. You may find yourself wondering, "Why aren't there any men like these terrific women I keep meeting?"
You may also feel confused or unsure about whether or not you're a lesbian. Many adults will tell us that we're too young to call ourselves gay, or that we're going through a phase, or that we don't know what we're talking about. That's their way of avoiding the fact that some of us are lesbian youth.
You may feel confused because you're attracted to both men and women. That's OK. Some women have relationships with both men and women throughout their lives. Some may later decide to be exclusively lesbian or heterosexual.
Our sexuality develops over time. Don't worry if you aren't sure!

Yes, you are normal. It's perfectly natural for people to be attracted to members of their own sex. But it's not something that's encouraged in our society. Many people push away these feelings because of prejudice against gay men and lesbians.
Most scientific experts agree that a person's sexual orientation is determined at a very young age, maybe even at birth.
It's normal and healthy to be yourself, whether you're gay or straight. What's really important is that we learn to like ourselves.
Coming out is the process of accepting yourself as a lesbian and figuring out how open you want to be about your sexual orientation.
Unfortunately, not everyone you know will think that being a lesbian is the greatest thing since sliced bread. It's hard to know who can handle the information and give you support. Some friends may accept you. Some may turn away from you or tell other people without your permission. Telling family can be very difficult. Some families are very supportive. But some lesbian and gay youth have been kicked out of their homes when their parents found out.
Maybe there's a guidance counselor or social worker in your school, or in a local youth or counseling agency, that you can trust. It's important to have someone to talk to because it's not normal or healthy for young people to have to keep secret such an important part of their lives.
Deciding whether or not to be sexual with someone is a big decision. You may feel very scared at the thought of having sex with another women. That's OK. Lots of us do, especially if it's our first time.
Women aren't encouraged in our society to talk openly about sex, but it's important that we communicate about what we like and don't like to do sexually, whether we feel ready to have sex or not, and different expectations we may have about the relationship.
There are many ways that lesbians can be sexual with each other. We can give each other pleasure by holding, kissing, hugging, stroking, stimulating each other's genitals with our tongues and hands, inserting our fingers into each other's vaginas, rubbing our bodies together to stimulate each other, and anything else we want to do.
We can use our imaginations!

Gang rape of lesbian brings vigil, leafleting

Gang rape of lesbian brings vigil, leafleting

Here is more information on the vigil and organizing in the Richmond for the young queer woman who was gang raped in Richmond last week. It's from the chronicle...Can some of the well heeled LGBT organizations (I'm thinking of the center etc) in SF show some solidarity and support?
-->
Leslie Fulbright, SF Chronicle Staff Writer Saturday, December 27, 2008 Two events will be held in Richmond this weekend to show support for a 28-year-old lesbian who was gang-raped earlier this month in what police are investigating as a hate crime. A candlelight vigil will take place tonight at 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of 15th Street and Visalia Avenue, the same time when and location where the assault started. The vigil was organized by the Hand to Hand Kajukenbo Self Defense Center in Oakland. On Sunday afternoon, both Spanish- and English-speaking volunteers will walk around the neighborhood, handing out flyers with the suspects' descriptions. "We are hoping to find someone out there who knows these criminals," said Aileen Cancino of Contra Costa Equality, a grassroots human rights organization. "These men are still running loose, and we want people to know we will not sit back with our arms crossed and let this happen to another woman." No arrests had been made in the case as of Friday, police said. A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrests of the attackers. The assault, which occurred Dec. 13 in two locations in the Belding-Wood neighborhood of Richmond, is considered a hate crime because the attackers made comments about the victim being a lesbian. She was left naked in front of an apartment complex when the four attackers took off in her car. Hate crimes directed at people because of their sexual orientation have risen over the past two years, according to FBI statistics: 1,017 were reported in 2005, 1,195 in 2006 and 1,265 in 2007. Community Violence Solutions, a nonprofit rape crisis center, has opened a fund in the name of Richmond Jane Doe to help the woman pay for relocation expenses, police said. "We have received a lot of calls from people who are concerned and outraged, but tips leading to the suspects have not come in," said Richmond police Lt. Mark Gagan. "We encourage activities such as the vigil and leafleting the neighborhood - anything that may generate dialogue and lead to a witness coming forward." Police described the first suspect as a Latino man in his 30s, about 5-foot-6, 180 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a mustache. The second suspect is described as an African American man in his 20s, about 5-foot-10, 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, who goes by the nickname "Blu," police said. The two other suspects are described as Latino men between 18 and 20 years old. One goes by the name "Pato," police said. Vigil details The candlelight vigil will be held tonight at 9:30 p.m. at the corner of 15th Street and Visalia Avenue in Richmond. Volunteers will be seeking people with information about the crime Sunday at 1 p.m. in front of the Foods Co. grocery store at 1250 Macdonald Ave. in Richmond. Anyone may participate. Donations for the victim may be sent to Community Violence Solutions, 2101 Van Ness St., San Pablo, CA 94806. For more information, call (510) 237-0113. Outside of CUAV (Community United Against Violence), no one seems to care. After almost a week after the attack, this is the first posting on the site about the event. Below is info about tonight's vigil. Is Gay Marriage really more important than protecting our people from being raped and murdered? The Bay Area gay community doesn't appear to think so.
Police continue to search for four men who kidnapped and gang-raped a woman on Dec. 13 in Richmond, CA. The 28-year-old openly lesbian Richmond resident was attacked after exiting her vehicle, which had a rainbow sticker on the license plate, and driven seven blocks away to a location where she was raped by the group for almost an hour.

While the cause of the crime is unknown, police are investigating the attack as a hate crime because of comments the suspects made about the victim’s orientation during the incident.

The attackers are being sought on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, kidnapping , carjacking , and sexual assault. The charges carry a hate crime enhancement.

A $10,000 reward for tips is being offered by the police. Anyone with information is being asked to call Detective Ysenia Rogers at (510) 672-1718.

California lesbian gang-raped 10 min-->
SAN FRANCISCO - A WOMAN was taunted for being a lesbian, repeatedly raped by four men and left naked outside an abandoned apartment building, authorities said.
Detectives say the 28-year-old victim was attacked Dec 13 after she got out of her car in Richmond, in the San Francisco Bay area.
'It just pushes it beyond fathomable,' said Richmond police Lt Mark Gagan on Monday. 'The level of trauma - physical and emotional - this victim has suffered is extreme.' Authorities are characterizing the attack as a hate crime.
Mr Gagan said the victim lived openly with a female partner and had a rainbow flag sticker on her car.
The 45-minute attack began when one of the men approached the woman as she crossed the street, struck her with a blunt object, ordered her to undress and sexually assaulted her with the help of the other men.
When the group saw another person approaching, they forced the victim back into her car and took her to a burned-out apartment building, where she was raped again inside and outside the vehicle.
The assailants took her wallet and drove off in her car. Officers found the car abandoned two days later.
Gay rights advocates note that hate crimes based on sexual orientation have increased nationwide. There were 1,415 such crimes in 2006 and 1,460 in 2007, both times making up about 16 per cent of the total, according to the FBI.
Avy Skolnik, a coordinator with the New York-based National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs, noted that gay, lesbian and transgender crime victims may be more reluctant than heterosexual victims to contact police.
He also said the group plans to analyse hate crime data to see whether fluctuations may be related to the gay marriage bans that appeared on ballots this year in California, Arizona and Florida.
'Any time there is an anti-LGBT initiative, we tend to see spikes both in the numbers and the severity of attacks,' he said.
'People feel this extra entitlement to act out their prejudice.' -- AP

(12-23) 16:46 PST San Francisco, CA (AP) --
From a series of street bashings in Seattle to the baseball bat murder of an Ecuadorean immigrant in Brooklyn, episodes of anti-gay violence punctuated a year now ending with police investigating the alleged gang rape of a lesbian near San Francisco.
More News

Advocates said Tuesday they do not know whether the threats, beatings and murders involving victims who are suspected of being gay reflects a true rise in attacks or increased reporting of hate-based crimes that persist even as gays gain greater visibility and legal protections.
Either way, experts say 2008 likely will be remembered not only for same-sex couples losing the right to marry in California, but a rash of incidents nationwide that sometimes provoked public outrage and often went unnoticed amid their numbing frequency.
"When you are talking about hate crimes, people think someone is likely to report it, but in some communities the message is not always clear that our society has accepted LGBT folks," said Sarah Tofte, a researcher at New York-based Human Rights Watch. "That means there is a lot of work to do to figure how many crimes like this might go on under the radar."
In Richmond, the crime-ravaged Bay Area city where the 28-year-old lesbian reported being assaulted by four men 10 days ago, police on Tuesday received so many calls from community members wanting to help that they asked the local rape crisis center to set up a fund to aid her.
FBI statistics show there were 1,265 hate crimes based on sexual orientation in 2007, up from 1,017 two years earlier and 1,239 in 2003. That compares to 3,820 racially motivated incidents in 2007 and 1,400 in which the victim's religion was a factor.
Because not all states allow attacks motivated by anti-gay bias to be charged as hate crimes and because some victims are reluctant to reveal their sexual orientations to police, gay and transgender rights advocates suspect the numbers to be much higher.
The vast majority of brutality against gays is carried out by young men, usually acting in groups, said Riki Wilchins, executive director of Gender Public Advocacy Coalition, a Washington nonprofit that works in schools to address discrimination.
Their victims most often are other young men with feminine demeanors or transgender women, said Wilchins. "These assailants are looking to eradicate and exterminate something that enrages them, and that is what makes them hate crimes," he said.
GenderPAC published a report in 2006 cataloguing the murders of 50 such victims under 30 years old over a 10-year period. The group has identified another 20 murders of "gender non-conforming youth" that have taken place in the two years since, although FBI statistics for the same period show only five hate crime slayings linked to the victim's sexual orientation.
"There has definitely been a huge spike. I don't think anybody knows why," Wilchins said. "Before we were talking about one (murder) every two or three months. Now it's down to one a month."
Many of the incidents that have captured headlines this year — from the February shooting death of a gay teenager at his Southern California middle school to this month's slaying of a Brooklyn man who was fatally beaten while walking arm-and-arm with his brother — fit Wilchins' profile.
Larry King, the 15-year-old shot by a classmate, wore feminine clothing and makeup. Jose Sucuzhanay, 31, was beaten with a baseball bat and kicked by three men who jumped out of a car yelling anti-gay and anti-Hispanic slurs.
The unidentified woman who was sexually assaulted in Richmond on Dec. 13 also was jumped by a group. Detectives say she was attacked after she got out of her car, which bore a rainbow gay pride sticker.
After one of the four men struck her, the group dragged the woman into the street, assaulted her, forced her back into her car and took her to a burned-out apartment building, where she was raped again. Authorities are still searching for the suspects.
The National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs, a network of organizations working to address gay-related violence, has tracked numerous other anti-gay crimes this year. They include the deaths of transgender women in Tennessee and Colorado; the arson fire that destroyed the home of a 65-year-old gay man in New York, and a spate of street beatings in Seattle's gay district.

Tips for your first lesbian sexual experience

Tips for your first lesbian sexual experience

There’s a lot wrapped up in your first time lesbian sexual experience.

Whether it’s your first time having sex at all, or your first time having sex with another woman, being nervous is normal.

There’s so much cultural hype about “your first time” and “losing your virginity.” One thing is true, you never do forget your first time. Here’s some tips to get you through your first time lesbian sexual experience

. 1. Get to know your own body. Before you can even think about turning someone else on, it’s good to know what excites you. Yes, I’m talking about masturbation. Spend some time one-on-one with yourself. As you touch yourself and find the places that feel good, you’ll know where to touch her. And more importantly, how to tell her what turns you on.

2. Go sober. You want to remember your first lesbian sex. Sometimes alcohol or drugs can lower your inhibitions and make the first move easier, but you’re not as likely to do or say something regrettable if you’re sober.

3. Go Safe. Yes, lesbians need to worry about sexually transmitted diseases including HIV and AIDS. Read up on lesbian safer sex and be prepared to bring the topic up with your partner. Unfortunately, safe sex is still not talked about very often in the lesbian community.

4. Fantasize. It all begins with fantasy. If you’re ready to sleep with another woman, you must have thought about it. What are those thoughts? Does she throw you down on the bed and have her way with you? Or do you go skinny dipping in your backyard pool? There’s a saying, you must imagine it before you can do it.

5. Leave the toys in the drawer. There will be plenty of time to learn about and play with sex toys. Let your first time be simple flesh-on-flesh love.

6. Relax. Take your time. Touch her all over. Don’t got straight for her crotch. Undress her slowly, appreciating every newly exposed piece of flesh. Kiss her elbows. Touch her breasts. Blow softly in her ear. Kiss her neck. Caress her belly, her inner thighs. Kiss behind her knees. Smell under her arms. Massage her buttocks. Slowly suck on her fingers. Get naked and lay your body on top of hers. There’s so much erotic fun you can have before you ever even touch her pussy. Enjoy.

7. Communicate. Ask her what she wants. Ask her if what you’re doing feels good. Tell her where you want to be touched. Communication is key to any good sexual relationship. If she’s doing something you like, moan or purr to let her know that feels good.

8. Have realistic expectations. Your first time with a lover should be about getting to know her body, getting to know how to turn her on and learning what your chemistry is. Orgasm may or may not happen the first time. That’s okay. The point is to get physical, get close, express your feelings of love or desire

the fact of our life as gays or les or bi‏

the fact of our life as gays or les or bi‏

THE thing is
we can't just say

"Oh, i can't come out because my parentsare strict Muslims/Jews/catholic ,Lutherians"

because that means that we're blaming our religion, and our God, on our cooped up sexuality. And we can't just say "I can't come out because I'm arabian /((Kuwaity))/Native Indian", or whatever ....because that makes our countries look foolish Here's the underline, whatever, whoever, wherever we are, it's a fact that being bisexual or( lesbian) homosexual would start a bit of (or a lot of)denial/anger/refusal from the people around us. It's never easy to come out.i wish i could tell everyone that I'm gay or lesbian and happy the way I am.proud. Or try to tell everyone that I'm happy the way I am because I'm a homosexual (lesbian) who is acting up on her sexuality(which would probably make me look like a pervert for stright ppl

its just athinking and feeling that we feel that how we really feel :(

wish someday 2feel free and

COME OUT 2 EVERYONE

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson get it on‏

Here’s a screencap from a security cam footage showing Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson kissing in the DJ booth at a gig Sam did in Washington last month. This picture is for the five people on earth who still believe that Lindsay is not a lesbian. Good to see Lindsay sucking on that cigarette and downing those shots again. Way to go party girl! Never mind all the acting jobs you lost. Just keep on partying and locking lips with your girlfriend and everything will be fine, I guarantee it.

::No point in trying to find me againI'm not the woman that I was then The days when I'd throw head's caution to the windAnd realize too late what a mess I'm inAnd I tried to assimilateIt's the lie and the truth at the same timeI find after all this timeI'm condemned to living outside the worldI was born inI uncover the secrets I hideI recover the mind that I tiedI discover the life that I tried to live and forgetIn Apricot timeNo point in saying she's an Arab girlAs if that's all there is to claim about herIf you look closely see a transparent veilDesigned to hide and exorcise her shameAnd I tried to differentiateAnd draw lines between the good and the bad thingsIt’s hard when you’re lost in spaceA cross cultural tale of misplaced love and hate

sylvie van der vaart

Sylvie Françoise van der Vaart-Meis (born 13 April 1978, Breda), is a Dutch actress and presenter and current wife of footballer Rafael van der Vaart.

By her 18th birthday, Meis had decided that she wanted to be a model and was casted for various shoots by casting agencies. After television entered her life, she gained popularity through her jobs at FoxKids and music station TMF. She hosts several events at TMF, such as presenting the annual TMF-awards, conducting interviews with international artists such as Britney Spears and Kylie Minogue. In addition, she features in video clips and the Dutch TV-series “Costa”. In collaboration with the firm of JPC she also introduced the successful “Pure by Sylvie” jewellery line to the Dutch market.
After being elected Holland’s sexiest female in 2003, she started a relationship with then-Ajax soccer player Rafael van der Vaart. Due in part to the fame from their individual careers they soon become Holland’s most famous “soccer couple”. Their fame expands after their marriage on 10 June 2005 and live coverage of the wedding on SBS, with the broadcast gaining high ratings in Holland.
In September 2004, an Ajax Eredivisie league match against ADO Den Haag was temporarily halted by match officials due to incessant anti-Semitic chants by opposing fans directed at Meis.
Meis and Van der Vaart moved to Germany, when Van der Vaart left Ajax Amsterdam to play for Bundesliga football club Hamburger SV. After Van der Vaart's 2008 transfer to Real Madrid, Meis and Van der Vaart moved to Spain. The couple's first child, Damián Rafael, was born on 28 May 2006.

Damn it

Now living in Germany, she hasn’t given up the dreams of being a beautiful model until her looks totally run out.
